Playtech's new native mobile casino application has been put to the test, with excellent results.
Bet365 is the first casino operator to launch the Playtech app, allowing its players to access 100 native casino games and top slot by Playtech.
There are many positives about the new app, including the fact that it launches three times faster than its HTML5 equivalents.
The new Playtech application is available on Android and iOS devices as an upgrade to Bet365's existing mobile casino application.
Other features include the ability to customize players' gaming experiences and environments.
Popularity of Native Apps
The chief operating officer of Playtech, Shimon Akad spoke about the reasons why the software giant felt that the time was right to roll out a new native mobile casino app.
"Research, including a recent Nielsen report, suggests that 89% (vs. c.11% browser) of time on mobile is spent in-app, supporting the theory that native apps are what players want to use when gaming," he said.
"Playtech has invested significantly in native technologies, backing up our strategy to provide the best solutions for our partners and their players."

Bet365 & Playtech Work Together
The new app is the result of a joint effort between Playtech and Bet365 to create a top product.
The chief executive of Bet365 subsidiary, Hillside Limited, Christian H. Bogstrand, said that the group had worked closely with Playtech on the development of the new casino native app. Efforts were made, he said to ensure that Bet365 and Playtech provide high quality content with a much faster and improved gaming experience for players.
Other advantages include quicker access to favorite games, heightened immersive gameplay and easier navigation features.
