New Live Casino for William Hill Brand

William Hill has enhanced its players' gaming experience with the launch of a new dedicated live casino.

While William Hill already has an excellent live casino offering which is powered by Evolution Gaming and available through its Live Casino tab, the group has now launched a second live dealer games platform through its Vegas tab at WilliamHill.com.

The new live casino will be beamed from Evolution Gaming's Riga studios and has a more casual feel to it. For the moment, it features a fun live roulette table and a live blackjack table.

William Hill believes that the new live casino will appeal to a different type of player, seeking a more laid back and relaxed way to enjoy live dealer games in a fun, Vegas-like environment.

Natural Step for William Hill

The head of live casino and Vegas at William Hill, Kevin Kilminster said about the new offering to players: "This is a natural step for us, as we continue to tailor our online services to different customer segments."

He added: "The new live tables, complete with a dedicated dealer team in Vegas styled clothing, as well as a dedicated floor and promotions manager, are central to the distinctive Vegas service, which is designed to appeal to new player types and demographics."

Also adding his comments was Sebastian Jahannisson, the head of account management at Evolution, which is so well-known in the industry for providing top notched live casino solutions.

"We are delighted that, once again, this client is extending its dedicated Live Casino operations to serve growing player demand and to maximize the exciting potential of highly branded and targeted online gaming services," he said.

William Hill Eyeing 888 Takeover

In other William Hill news, it was confirmed that the group is eying a £750 million acquisition bid of 888 Holdings.

888 said in a statement this week: "The board of the company confirms that it received an approach regarding a possible offer for the company by William Hill. There can be no certainty, however, that any firm offer will be made nor as to the terms on which any firm offer might be forthcoming."

Shares in 888 Holdings leaped 18% following the news.
