A new branded slot is set to launch in the summer of 2015, based on the side-splitting comedy movie, Bridesmaids.
The Isle of Man based online casino software provider, Microgaming, signed a licensing deal with Universal Partnerships and Licensing to produce the game, which will be rolled out in August this year.
The 2011 movie was a huge hit among audiences, and is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD. The original movie starred big names such as Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Rebel Wilson, and the slot game will feature all the main characters through original clips from the movie.
Microgaming was excited about the new summer slot release, with the group's chief executive officer, Roger Raatgever commenting: "Bridesmaids is a comedy classic! The storyline, characters and genuinely hilarious stand-out scenes combine to make it one of the most successful comedy films of all time. We're thrilled to have signed another licensing agreement with Universal."
"Furthermore," he added, "the brand adds a completely new dimension to our branded game portfolio - we're excited for its launch later in the year."
